Our Team

Joseph G. Reda , CPO, LPO-NJ Director

Joe has earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Ramapo College and went on to graduate school at NYU Medical School to earn his certificate in prosthetics and orthotics in New York city. He completed his residency at Kessler and was hired as a clinician after graduation. Joe has been with the Kessler system for 37 years and is now the director of Kessler Rehabilitation Center orthotics and prosthetics services. Joe has been the sole provider for the Saddle Brook facility during his tenure and approximately five years ago, started taking care of patients at the Chester campus as well.

Nadine Early, Patient Service Specialist

Nadine has been a member of our Kessler Prosthetics and Orthotics team for three-plus years and has more than 15 years of clinical experience. She oversees the daily administration functions and specializes in insurance verification, authorization, appeals, letter of agreements, financial hardship reviews and approval and rate negotiations. Nadine is passionate about delivering high-quality service while exceeding patients' expectations. She works closely with our team of practitioners, physical therapists, physicians and patients to ensure patients' needs are met in a timely manner.

Gilberto Collazo, Certified Orthotic Assistant

Gilberto has been with Kessler Rehabilitation as an orthotic and prosthetic senior technician for the past 25 years. His flexible, open and positive manner connects well with patients. Gilberto’s willingness to learn new techniques benefits his patients. During his time at Kessler, based on his varied experience and skill sets, he has trained many employees in valuable techniques. He is a responsible and dedicated individual focused on solving the problems of his patients with a goal to provide them with products to make their lives easier.

Stephen D. Sorg, CPO, LPO-NJ

Stephen has been a member of Kessler Orthotics and Prosthetics for seven years. He has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings and has 25 years of clinical experience. Stephen specializes in working with amputees and neuromuscular disorders and is active with our inpatient and outpatient clinics. Stephen received his prosthetic degree from Northwestern University and orthotic degree from University of Connecticut, Newington.

Karen Luzniak, Patient Service Specialist

Karen is the newest member of our team, overseeing administrative functions. She is responsible for a variety of administrative duties, including receiving patient demographic and insurance information, scheduling, obtaining signatures on detailed written orders and collecting patient financial responsibilities. She has close communication with patients, physicians, physical therapists and our internal team.

Hand Therapy

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation is the first nationwide comprehensive oncology rehabilitation program of its kind. The National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA)

September 18, 2025

Kessler is a proud sponsor of the Return to Golf Clinic and First Swing Seminar. This golfing event is one of many The National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA) puts on annually. Joe Reda, CPO, LPO-NJ, Director of Kessler Orthotics and Prosthetics Services will be participating.
