A treatment approach, consisting of specific exercises and modalities, to accomplish objective, functional goals relating to an injury or post operative condition. Physical therapy treatment may help improve the following dysfunctions: Knee, foot & ankle, low back, shoulder and neck pain, strains & sprains, muscle, tendon and ligament tears, arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, joint inflammation, fractures and breaks. Physical therapy may also improve functional deficits (lifting, carrying, walking, pushing/pulling, dressing, bathing, reaching), headaches, endurance issues, ambulation difficulties and sports-related injuries.

A treatment approach designed specifically for hand and upper extremity injuries and post-operative procedures. Hand therapy treatment may help improve these common disorders: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, tendonitis, fractures, upper extremity strains / sprains and arthritic pain.

This service is designed to diminish the symptoms relating to vestibular dysfunction, which may result from a stroke, brain injury and/or other traumatic injuries or diseases. Vestibular dysfunction can take away an individual’s independence and safety by negatively affecting one’s equilibrium and sense of balance. Symptoms include dizziness, vertigo, nausea, balance problems when walking, motion sickness, inability to visually concentrate, blurred vision and sensitivity to busy environments.

Several of our centers offer pediatric and adolescent therapy to patients between the ages of 0-18. We dedicate special attention to children, providing ample time and supervision on an individual basis to achieve optimal outcomes. We understand that providing care to children involves the family and caregivers as well as the need to be flexible and accommodating. Therapy can vary from a few visits to learn a home exercise program to a longer stay to improve gross and fine motor skills. Commonly treated conditions are torticollis, delayed milestones (crawling, walking, writing, etc), tendon injuries, sprains, scoliosis and athletic injuries.

Lymphedema Treatment is provided by a certified therapist, and will reduce swelling caused by cancer treatment, chronic venous insufficiency, or genetic predisposition. It involves manual lymph drainage, compressive wrapping, therapeutic exercise and patient education.

This service provides individualized driving evaluations and training to those with physical, cognitive or vision limitations due to trauma, illness, disease or aging. A team of occupational therapists and certified driving specialists will individuals gain the skills and understanding necessary to be on the road safely. Both experienced and new drivers may benefit from this program.

This program provides individualized services to evaluate an array of mobility and seating systems and products. Our overall goal is to maximize comfort, posture, pressure distribution and independent functioning for our clients. Services include a comprehensive mat evaluation, manual and power wheelchair mobility skills training, trial of a wide range of off-the-shelf and custom products and pressure mapping.
